In the beginning
In the 50’s Jesse McElroy “dub” began roofing the Tulsa metro area. Dub taught six of his brothers the roofing trade as they each grew old enough to learn. By the early 60’s they had all learned to roof and in the early 70’s this family became the top roofers in their field (composition shingles). To this day they still maintain the highest standards in local business.

The 2nd generation of leadership
Tab McElroy is now the proud owner of McElroy roofing. He began to gradually take over his fathers business after receiving his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps. He fully took over the business by the time he graduated from college. Taking into account the combination of being close to roofing since he was a child, college, and the marine corps, this fully prepared him for the task at hand. Since then he has upheld his family values and honored each and every customer with the absolute best in roofing materials, workmanship and professionalism. He is an individual who truly enjoys his job and takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the company.
